You don't read enough. You certainly don't read enough good science
fiction. You never get to read good science fiction for free.
Until now.
Until now.
Author Charles Stross has put a series of stories online for free reading. They first appeared as a series in Asimov's Science Fiction magazine, then were published as a book.
The author, with the consent of his publishers, has put the full text of the stories online, for anyone to download and read.
It's set starting in the near-future, and continues on for several centuries (yea, one of those stories). The near-term stuff is excellent, and the long-term outlook isn't completely unrealistic. A good look at our information-driven future.
Check it out.
